Where is my Graphic Card and the Driver?

When I started my PC today I was shown a desktop with really big icons and a really low display resolution. Also I can't reset it to my normal display resolution.
After a short time a warning pops up: No AMD/ATI Driver found. Maybe you dont have it updated or it is completly missing. Please donwload the missing Driver you need.
OKAY! Said - Done. I was restarting my PC and what happened? Nothing! I know i have installed the right Driver.
In my desperation I was looking for my hardware options and then Graphic Card - WHUT? No Graphic Card inserted? That's not possible!

Please help me!

the only solution is to buy a new one =/

you can have a very decent one for 150 euro lol..

oh god its 2011. Electronic devices cannot be repaired anymore. Buy a new one...

thats a big problem. thats why i hate notebooks, one part fails and you can throw away your whole system.

maybe you should try to open it and check your gfx card. disconnect and reconnect then try it again. if that doesnt help its probably dead.
